This Gulf standard is concerned with the general methods of testing unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (uPVC) pipes for transport of fluids, including pipes for potable water, buried pipes for discharge of soil and waste of domestic and industrial origin and pipes used in soil waste and vent system inside the domestic buildings and chlorinated polyvinyl chloride pipes (CPVC) for transport of hot and cold water.
