BH GSO 126:2025 Scope
1.1 This standard is concerned with the methods of sampling lubricating oil contained in small or large containers, barrels or tanks.
1.2 The samples taken by the procedures given in this standard are intended to be used to determine:
1.2.1 Quality
1.2.2 Whether impurities are present
1.2.3 Degree of homogeneity of a batch
The sample can be taken directly from the containers or tanks.
