This International Standard establishes the classification and definitions of different powered industrial trucks; terms and definitions of main components and accessories are included. Some terms are not defined, either because they are selfevident or because they are also in general use elsewhere. Figures arc added to clarify definitions where appropriate. The annex to this International Standard gives terms and definitions relating to industrial trailers and to operating areas where such trucks are expected to be used.
