This standard is concerned with requirement for pressure sensitive adhesive tapes based on aluminium foil, paper, plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, regenerated cellulose, unplsticized PVC, fabric and filament reinforced material used for closing and sealing of inner and outer containers normally used in packaging. Note 1: Regenerated cellulose is not a suitable material for use where damp or wet condition are expected.
