This International Standard defines terms for quantities used as input to, and output from, computer programs for shipbuilding. It establishes terminology and definitions for the main dimensional quantities and derived non-dimensional coefficients used in describing ships' hulls and their hydrostatic conditions. NOTE — When dimensions and non-dimensional coefficients other than those defined in this International Standard occur in computer output, the terminology shall be defined in the output document. Such terms shall also be defined when they appear on input data pro forma.
