BH GSO ASTM A913/A913M:2023 Scope
This guide covers high-strength low-alloy steel shapes of structural quality, produced by quenching and self-tempering process (QST). The chemical analysis of the heat and of the steel product analysis shall conform to the chemical requirements prescribed by the reference materials. The Charpy V-notch test shall be performed to determine if the material conforms to the required tensile properties.
